With Open Source EMR/EHRs you don’t incur license fees in addition to possessing scope for ongoing enhancements and customizations which a proprietary product cannot offer. However, you may require a seamless internet connection (T1 connection) for prompt data access and delivery.

ViCarePlus hosts and maintains the EHR, patient, and practice data at a secure, central location, also known as a hosting facility. The server is secure and HIPAA compliant and only authorized users can access the EHR from anywhere .In addition to a username and password, additional / optional level of security can be enforced via our Two Factor Authentication Solutions. This remotely hosted system is accessed by paying a monthly fee.
